For the second day in a row the weather forecast kept us off Heart Mountain and for the second day in a row we were treated to beautiful skies and hiking in Banff. We started the day hiking up Tunnel Mountain and enjoying the views over the town of Banff and the Banff Springs golf course. To continue the adventure we drove to Johnston Canyon. In order to avoid the crowds, we decided to hike the Moose Meadows trail through the forest, which merges with the Johnston Canyon trail just as it reaches the lower falls. Both hikes today provided us with breathtaking scenery and a combined total of over 13 kilometres on the trail.
